What time is your service?
We have two services, a Traditional Service at 8:30am and a Contemporary Service at 10:50am. See our Plan A Visit section for more details.
What are your beliefs?
We believe in God, the Father. We believe in His Son, Jesus. We believe the Holy spirit lives in all of us.
We believe all these things to be God as a Trinity.
We follow the Bible as our primary authority for our faith and daily lives.
We know that none of us are perfect, but God loves us anyway. With that in mind, we constantly strive to be BETTER neighbors, STRONGER families & MORE of what God intends us to be. There is a link below to learn more about what Methodists believe.
Do you have an evening service?
On Wednesday evenings, we offer a meal option and programs for kids and adults. We also offer our nursery for parents needing that option. See more about Wednesdays @ Hood in Plan a Visit.
How long has Hood UMC been here?
Work began on the building in 1891 and the sanctuary that is still used today for first service was completed in 1892. That makes it the oldest functioning sanctuary in Republic! Over the years as the church has grown, we have added on. Our latest completion being a secured children's area 5 years ago..
